本次翻译材料来源于地质学专著《深埋藏滩相白云岩储层形成机理——以川中地区下寒武统龙王庙组为例》,本书对川中地区下寒武统龙王庙组展开了详细的地质和沉积相研究。译者与其他四位译者协同翻译本书,主要承担该书第七、八章节的英译工作,字数约为一万五千字。这两个章节主要描述了储层溶蚀机理、储层主控因素及形成机理,探讨了控制龙王庙组储层发育的各种因素,总结了储层形成机理并建立了储层成因演化模式。源文本属于地质类信息型文本,专业性极强,文本中包含大量的专业术语和技术性语言,还涉及到图表处理、长难句翻译及被动句转换等问题。
