Since the "12thFive-Year" Plan, teachers as well as scientific and technical personnel inour university, have promoted our university’s scientific and technologicalstrength, attained remarkable achievements and fruitful results and made greatcontributions to the development of petroleum and natural gas industry by stickingto independent innovation and taking their full advantages with theirideological emancipation, solidarity and hard work. The "12thFive-Year" Plan has witnessed 136 science and technology awards atprovincial, ministerial level and national level, including two national grand prizesfor science andtechnology advancement, one national firstprize for science and technology advancement,four national second prizes for science and technology advancement;three second prizes for national technology invention, and thirty-four firstprizes, thirty-five second prizes, fifty-five third prizes and two excellence prizesfor various provincial and ministerial awards.
