内容简介:
本项目是华电集团为埃塞俄比亚联邦民主共和国亚的斯电力公司提供的施工组织设计。第四章为该项目的施工方案,具体内容为建设电力公司综合楼的土建、安装等。源文本共5.1万字,译者翻译的选段是《电力公司施工组织设计》第四章的第七节至第十一节,约1.5万字,作为本次翻译实践报告的材料。其中,第七节为电力变压器安装、高低压柜安装以及防雷接地系统;第八节为钢结构安装,包括钢结构安装准备工作和安装工艺流程;第九节为脚手架及支撑搭设方案,包括脚手架材质选用及质量要求、落地式扣件钢管脚手架计算书、搭设技术要求、脚手架的搭设及拆除施工工艺等;第十节为临水临电施工方案,包括临时用水用电 和安全措施等;最后一节,即第十一节为季节性施工方案,具体包括雨季施工、防风、防雷等举措。

研讨反思:
通过此次翻译研讨会,译者对翻译的过程有了更深刻的认识,也认识到初译文中存在的不足,以及如何改进等。
第一、专业知识理解和阅读平行文本的重要性,在此次翻译研讨的过程中,译者发现自己对原文专业知识的理解有待提高,从而提升译文的准确度,比如,例2中的“当天拆当天清”,这里是指当天清理运至地面的材料,而不是清点材料。在老师的指点之下,对译文做出了更改。
第二、保持科技英文的简洁特点,针对这一点,初译文中有很多地方表达不够简洁,用词用句冗长啰嗦,应根据具体情况,使用代词,从句,with引导的独立主格结构等,从而使译文更简洁明了,也与源文简洁的行文风格相统一。
第三、术语统一,因源文本属于电力工程类文本,包含大量的专业术语,译者需要在全篇,保持行文间术语翻译的一致性,体现严谨的工作态度,努力做出有质量的译文。
