一、学校简介 About us

金沙娱场城app7979是新中国创建的第二所石油本科院校，是一所中央与地方共建、以四川省人民政府管理为主的高等学校。2017年9月，入选为国家首批“双一流”世界一流学科建设高校，2022年2月，顺利入选国家第二轮“双一流”建设高校及建设学科名单，石油与天然气工程学科为国家“双一流”建设学科，工程学、化学、材料科学、地球科学进入ESI全球前1%。

Founded in 1958, Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU) is co-built by the central and local governments and is administered mainly by Sichuan Provincial Government. It is the second petroleum university since the establishment of P.R. China. In September 2017 and February 2022, SWPU was successfully selected as one of the “double first-class” universities in China and its disciplines of engineering, chemistry, material science and geoscience are among the top 1% of ESI in the world.

经过65年的建设，学校现已发展成为一所以工为主、多学科协调发展、石油天然气优势突出和特色鲜明的大学，石油主干学科专业在全国处于领先水平。

With 65 years of construction, SWPU has grown into a multi-disciplinary university focusing on engineering, with advantage in Oil and Gas discipline that ranks the top in China.

学校现有19个教学学院（部）、1个工程训练中心。学科专业涵盖理学、工学、管理学、经济学、文学、法学、教育、艺术8个学科门类，本科具有招生资格专业78个，有5个一级学科博士点，22个一级学科硕士点，1个二级学科硕士点，14个硕士专业学位类别，有5个博士后科研流动站。

SWPU is composed of 19 schools, covering 8 discipline fields: engineering, science, management, economics, literature, law, education and art. It offers 78 bachelor’s degree programs, 5 first-level discipline doctoral programs, 22 first-level discipline master programs, 1 second-level discipline master program, and holds 5 post-doctoral research bases.  

学校现有全日制在校学生39788人，其中普通本科生31021人，硕士研究生7219人，博士研究生1055人，外国留学生493人。现有教职工2818人，有正高级专业技术职务人员401人，副高级专业技术职务人员796人。专任教师2136人，其中有中国工程院院士3人。

Currently, there are 39,788 full-time students, including 31,021 undergraduates, 7,219 master students, 1,055 doctoral students and 493 international students. There are 2,818 faculty and staff members, including 3 academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 401 full-time professors, 796 associate professors and 2,136 full-time teachers.

学校现有各级各类科研基地（平台）267个，其中：国家重点实验室2个（油气藏地质及开发工程国家重点实验室，协作天然气水合物国家重点实验室），国家工程实验室、研发中心（协作）7个，国家大学科技园1个，国家产业技术创新战略联盟4个。

SWPU boasts of 267 research centers and laboratories at various levels, including 2 State Key Laboratories (Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Exploitation Engineering, Natural Gas Hydrate), 7 National Engineering Laboratories (Co-established), 4 Strategy Alliances for Industrial Technology Innovation, 1 University National Science Park.

    学校重视国际交流与合作，已与美、俄、英、德、日、法、加等10多个国家和地区的高等院校和相关学术研究机构建立了密切的交流与合作关系。

        SWPU has always attached great importance to international exchange and cooperation. Various international joint projects and programs have been conducted between SWPU and educational institutions from different countries, such as America, Russia, England, Germany, Japan, France, Canada and Korea.

 七、申请及录取流程Application and Admission Procedure

第一步：网上申请

申请者登录金沙娱场城app7979国际学生在线服务系统，注册账号、在线填报、提交申请

Step 1  Online Application    

Applicants can log in the Online Service System for International Students of Southwest Petroleum University, and register an account and fill in online forms and submit the applications. https://swpu.17gz.org/

第二步：审核材料 确认录取

收到学生申请后，金沙娱场城app7979将审核申请者材料，确认录取名单，将申请办理并寄出《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华学习签证申请表》（JW202表）

Step 2  Documents reviewing and admission confirmation

After reviewing of application materials in accordance with the provisions of the university, successful applicants will be issued Admission Notice and the Visa Application for Study in China (the JW202 Form).

第三步：申请来华学习签证

录取学生持《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华学习签证申请表》（JW202表）及其他要求材料到中国驻外大使馆申请来华学习签证。

Step 3  Application for Study Visa to China

The applicant can apply for study visa to China with the Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (the JW202 Form), the Physical Examination Records and other required document in Chinese Embassy abroad.

 八、入学报到 Registration

入学报到注册方式及报到时间以学校发放的录取通知书为准。

The specific time and approach of registration shall be based on the Admission Notice.
