报告内容:First we shall present what it is knownabout the limit cycles of the discontinuous piecewise linear differentialsystems with two pieces separated by a straight line. Second we shall describebriefly four different techniques for computing analytically the limit cyclesof the mentioned discontinuous piecewise linear differential systems, based onthe averaging theory or Melnikov integral, the first integrals, the Poincar´emap, and the Poincar´e map plus the Newton-Kantorovich Theorem.

Prof. Dr. Jaume LlibreUniversitat Aut`onoma de Barcelona Academician,世界著名数学家、西班牙皇家科学院院士,巴塞罗那自治大学Jaume Llibre教授来金沙娱场城app7979访问。Jaume Llibre1979年在西班牙巴塞罗那自治大学(Universitat Aut`onoma deBarcelona)获得博士学位,2002年评选为西班牙皇家科学院院士。他是动力系统、天体力学领域的国际领军人物,做出了大量开创性工作和优秀成果,在国际主流期刊发表论文800多篇,出版包括《Qualitative Theory of PlanarDifferential Systems》在内的多部专著,现任SCI期刊《Qualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems》主编及多个SCI学术期刊的编委。

Professor Jaume Llibre isProfessor of Mathematics in Universitat Aut`onoma de Barcelona, academician ofthe Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences. He is a famous expert in field ofdynamical systems. His main results deal with periodic orbits, topologicalentropy, polynomial vector fields, Hamiltonian systems and celestial mechanics.
